Welcome to the Slingshot Rally 2008 Homepage!

August 2008 will see the first Slingshot Rally disembarking the ferry in Dublin, and getting ready for what promises to be one hell of an event!

The aim of the event is to raise money for the 'Ball for all' Charity, and we are pledging 25% of all the entree fees to 'Ball For All'. For more information on this worthy cause please click on the link in our menu.

40 teams will spend six days and nights at the fabulous Clontarf Castle Hotel, just outside Dublin, where the weeks rally stages will all depart from and finish at.

There will be 3 days of timed road trials covering the length and breadth of Ireland.

There will also be a private track day at Irelands National circuit where teams can put their own cars to the test, and gain vital points towards the final prizegiving.

After all the fun and games there will be a prize giving ceremony at the castle, with a medieval banquet rounding off the week to the sound of live irish music, and lashings of champagne!
